GREYMRKT - NR10R Clock

1/5 Scale Mugen NR10R inspired wheel clock.  We collaborated with our friends from DBSWorks of Spain who originally CAD designed the wheel from photos. 

We used CAD modeling and 3D printed a prototype to ensure the inspired design met our expectations. 

Made from a T6061 Aluminum block. We manufactured the wheel using a 5 Axis CNC Machine.  Each wheel is then cleaned, deburred, and placed in an abrasive blaster where the center section of the wheel is textured by applying fine glass beads at high pressure, without damaging the surface.  The right amount of contrast when the rest of the wheel is then polished and finally chrome dipped to achieve the final finishing. 

The goal was to introduce something that was not only a beautiful scaled model but also was functional for daily use that could be enjoyed by all Honda enthusiasts.  We then paired the with a swift Quartz movement to finish out the product.
